John 7 shows us that Jesus calls himself the “Living Water”. But the day after this declaration on Temple Mount, Jesus has to confront a mob of accusers with their own sins. He does this by writing in the dust. What is Jesus writing? What does it mean? And can we learn anything from Him….?
Jeremiah 17:12–13
[12] A glorious throne set on high from the beginning
is the place of our sanctuary.
[13] O LORD, the hope of Israel,
all who forsake you shall be put to shame;
those who turn away from you shall be written in the earth,
for they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living water. (ESV)
