Hello friends,
Today, we have a special treat for our Pause to Pray session. I’m joined by my dear wife, and together, we’ll bring you a united spirit in prayer. It’s not often you see us together, but today is an exception, and it’s proof of our shared commitment to each other and to our faith.
We’ve had quite a whirlwind week, and with everything unfolding, we felt it was crucial to take a moment to slow down, pause the chaos, and find refuge in the presence of the Lord. Our last joint prayer on Pause to Pray was back in 2020 during our Appeal to Heaven prayer time, and we believe today is another important moment to come together in prayer.
As we gather, whether you’re joining live or catching up later, let us know where you’re tuning in from. It’s always inspiring to see our community come together from all corners of the nation and even beyond. This week, amidst the chaos and plans of the enemy, we’re reminded of a profound truth: our King plays a long game, far beyond the immediate turmoil we see.
Today, we’ll revisit Isaiah, a passage that holds deep significance for many of us. Isaiah 45 talks about the anointed, Cyrus, and how God uses leaders for His purposes. It’s a reminder that even in the darkest times, God’s plans are at work, setting things in motion for His greater purpose.
As we dive into these scriptures, let’s keep our hearts open to the Lord’s message. Remember, our King is not just playing a short game; His plans span the ages. Despite the chaos we witness, His sovereign hand is guiding us, ensuring that His will is done. The plots of the enemy are thwarted, and the King remains on His throne.
In this moment of prayer, let’s seek unity of the spirit, grounding ourselves in faith, and listening closely to what the Lord has to say. We’re grateful for each of you joining us, and together, we can find strength in His presence.
Let’s go to the Lord in prayer, lifting up our nation, our leaders, and each other, remembering that His plans and purposes are unstoppable.
Blessings,
Adam Schindler
