Lent & Temptations of Jesus

Jesus was tested in the wilderness by Satan on three key issues, all of which we part of His Divine call to be Messiah. The enemy is after the perversion of God’s purposes, not the invention of his own ideas.

The Christian tradition of Lent is not found in the Bible, but developed and becomes fixed at 40 days after the Council of Nicaea in 325AD. It’s a worthwhile exercise for believers to examine the assaults on identity and worship as we prepare our hearts for Resurrection Day!
